The Central Iowa Flyers Track & Field Club and Fall Running Club is open to any athlete, ages 4-16 who lives in the Ames and surrounding communities. We hold all of our practices in Ames, but athletes do not need to be a resident of Ames or attend the Ames Community School District to be a member of our club.
We offer two levels of participation in our Track and Field Club: a recreational club and a competitive club. Competitive club is designed to support the serious athlete who chooses to participate in USATF and/or AAU qualifier meets for the chance to compete in the National Junior Olympic Championships and who will purchase a USATF and/or AAU yearly membership.
Recreational club ($100): Early April - Last week in June and will NOT run in USATF and/or AAU qualifier meets. Practice is twice per week.
Competitive club ($140): Early April - Late July and will run in USATF and/or AAU qualifier and possibly National meets.
***New for 2018: Competitive membership includes your USATF membership fee and on additional practice per week.
